Why?

At GitHub we had a repo that any employee could request a random project such as this. To be clear, adding an idea to the issue list is no guarantee that it will be created, but it was full of crazy good suggestions.

As to why, I’m not entirely clear why GitHub needs playing cards. You could argue they didn’t, but it’s a reminder that culture lies in the cut - those spaces in-between project sprints and performance reviews. It’s a testament to the octocat world we created and the appetite for more. We, as a company, knew we had something special with Mona and Hubot and employees couldn’t get enough. That was reason enough for me.
